Obtaining your Credit Compass Credit Report

Do I have to register on your website to see my credit report?

Your credit report contains sensitive personal and financial information. At Credit Compass we believe it is important to ensure that nobody other than you can obtain your credit report. For this reason you need to register for our service so that we can carry out the necessary checks to protect you, before we release the credit report.

Can I obtain my report through the post?

Credit Compass is an online credit report service. However once you have registered you can print a copy of your report if you need one.

I have tried to register to view my report but I’ve received a message saying you cannot provide it. Why is this?

For your security we check the details you use when you register for Credit Compass. If the details do not match our records then unfortunately we may not be able to provide you with your report. In some cases we may hold no details on our records, for example if you have no credit accounts and are not on the electoral roll. If this happens we will not be able to provide you with a report.

Why do you need my card details when registering for my report?

As part of our security checks we use the card details you provide to match them against our records. This ensures that we are only providing your report to you. The card you use will also be used to take payment for the Credit Compass service. You can change the card you use to take payments once you have registered.

How much does it cost to view my report and score?

Your Credit Compass credit report and score costs £14.95 per month. The first payment will be taken 15 days after you have registered and each month after that.

Can I pay by direct debit?

At the moment we can only take payments by debit or credit card.

How often can I view my report and score?

Once you have registered for Credit Compass you can view your report and score as often as you want. However most lenders only update their information with Credit Compass every 4-6 weeks. So you may only see the information on your report update every month.

What do if something is wrong on my report?

If you believe something is wrong on your report you can let us know. The simplest way is to view your report and use the envelope icon next to the individual entry you believe is incorrect. Please note that it can take 4-6 weeks for lenders to update us, so if for example you close an account it will not immediately update on your credit report.

How will you notify me if something has changed on my report?

We will send an email to the address you gave us when you registered. You can then review your latest report and let us know if something is wrong.

How do I cancel the service?

If you decide you no longer wish to see your credit report you can cancel your account online. You can do this by going to the My Account section and selecting the Cancel option. Your account will be cancelled immediately and future payments will not be taken from your account.
